Miss France 1983 was the 53rd edition of Miss France, held on 29 December 1982 at the Hôtel PLM Saint-Jacques in Paris. Isabelle Turpault (Miss Paris 1982) and Teura Tuhiti (Miss Tahiti 1982) were declared co-winners; Turpault received the Miss France title while Tuhiti was named Miss France d'Outre-mer. Two months later, Turpault was stripped of her title following the publication of nude photos and was replaced by her first runner-up, Frédérique Leroy (Miss Bordeaux).
