Miss USA 1974, the 23rd Miss USA pageant, was televised live by CBS from Niagara Falls, New York, on May 18, 1974. Karen Jean Morrison of Illinois won the title and was crowned by outgoing Miss USA Amanda Jones, also of Illinois. Judges included Joyce Brothers, George Peppard, Paul Hornung, John Weitz, and Sylvia Hitchcock. Morrison later placed as a semifinalist at Miss Universe 1974.
