Nuestra Belleza México 1999 (also called Nuestra Belleza México Milenio) was the 6th edition of the national pageant, held at the Lienzo Charro in Pachuca, Hidalgo, on Friday, September 10, 1999. Thirty-two contestants competed; Leticia Murray of Sonora won the Nuestra Belleza México title and later represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus. Danett Velasco (Federal District) won the Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 1999 title and competed at Miss World 1999 in the United Kingdom. In 1999 the organization acquired the Miss International franchise: Lynette Delgado (Sinaloa) was initially appointed Nuestra Belleza Internacional México 1999 but resigned; Graciela Soto (Morelos) was then appointed and represented Mexico at Miss International 1999 in Japan. Post-pageant designations included Rosa María Aragón (Tamaulipas) to Reina Panamericana de la Belleza 1999 and Valeria de Anda (Quintana Roo) to Miss Costa Maya International 2000. Before ending her reign, Murray was designated for Miss International 2000, placing in the Top 15.
